Empowering Women Thru Motion
Denise is an Adult Nurse Practitioner with Licenses in both New York and New Jersey and now works part time, and also works for the Ridgewood Board of Education as a Substitute School Nurse at all of their schools and any of their trips. Denise resides in Ridgewood, NJ, with her husband, and two teenage children. Her daughter is an avid dancer; ballet, jazz, lyrical and hip hop at the Ridgewood Performing Arts Center. Her son runs on the Cross Country and Spring Track Teams. Denise has been a Past President of Ridge School’s Home and School Association and currently a member of the Delbarton Mother’s Guild and Community Service and organizes an annual Blood Donation Drive for the NY and NJ Blood Center. Denise also volunteers at her church and helps her husband manage their own company, Cuisine Cube: a gluten free mail order company that ships Artisanal Gluten Free foods to your door each month, which is still thriving.
Denise found her passion for taking care of herself and others early on. She knows first-hand the importance of fitness, staying active every day, and eating healthy.
Empowering Women Through Motion has allowed her to continue her course and share her expertise with women, young and older with events that EWTM has sponsored. These have been a 5K in Puerto Rico and Savannah, GA which were both coordinated with Service Events. Most recently it was in Georgia where over 100 toiletry bags were made, brought and donated to Savannah’s Women and Children at Share House.
